The events, feelings, choices, attempts, and uncertainty begin with the person who lived them. AI does not supply the life.
AI assistance
AI helps with listening, structure, context, and relevance. The purpose is clearer human expression, not an artificial life presented as real.
Private by design
An Ember is not a public post, feed item, or searchable profile. Public Places show generalized situations and aggregate counts, never private words or identities.
The choice stays human
Ember can offer perspective, but it does not hand down a life answer. No one reads another person's Ember unless its owner said yes to Ember sharing it, and the reader chose to read it.
How one experience can matter to another
Informing Ember and allowing a person to read an Ember are different. The first uses an eligible, deidentified version; the second is a rare human connection that requires consent from both people.
A person tells
They speak or write for themselves. Ember returns what they said as their own private Ember.
Experience can inform Ember
Unless turned off, an eligible version with identifying details removed may help Ember understand similar situations.
Ember may find a close connection
Rarely, Ember finds one existing Ember that stands very close to what another person has just told.
You decide, once
Ember asks the Ember's owner once whether people it can help may read it. Only after that yes may Ember offer it to one person standing where they stood, and only if they choose does one person read one Ember.

Is what I tell Ember public?
