Several of them found out not from a confession but from something they went looking for themselves — a bill, a phone, a message that was left open. More than one of them asked plainly for the whole truth and were met with denial, or told to simply wait. Some of them were still living alongside, or in daily contact with, the person who had betrayed them, waiting to see what would happen next. Each of them told Ember something that happened to them, and their page was placed on this light. The pages stay theirs; only the count is public.
What happens if I tell my part?
You get one clear page of what happened, in your words, yours to keep. Nobody sees it. If Ember later finds one person who lived something close, it asks you first whether you want it to ask them.
